ANAM CARA IS GAELIC FOR "SOUL FRIENDS"
We are an Irish performance dance group in Birmingham, Alabama. Our primary purpose is to promote Irish culture through our dancing at events across Alabama. Sharing our love for Irish dancing with an audience and seeing the enjoyment it brings to their faces, is what makes us happy. Anam Cara Irish Dancers have danced together for many years. We are also able to coordinate with other Celtic performers to offer an entire venue of performances, like bagpipes, Celtic bands or singers. We have been fortunate to have them share their talents with our dancers. Should you want to host a Celtic event we can provide this for you.
